Behavior

Trigger a MetaHuman avatar animation or expression on kiosk deployments – with support extendable via custom animation clips in the Unreal SDK.

Limited support. The Behavior node is not deprecated, but its support is limited: it works only on MetaHuman Kiosk deployments, and only for the animation clips available in your kiosk build. It has no effect on web widget deployments.

The Behavior node triggers a pre-defined animation or expression on the MetaHuman avatar – a gesture, emotion, or custom animation sequence. Use it to make the avatar point, wave, nod, or express an emotion at a specific moment in the conversation.

Available in: Conversational Flows Touchpoint: MetaHuman Kiosk only

Extending with custom animations

The set of behaviors available out of the box is limited. If you need additional gestures or expressions, you can handle this through a Custom MetaHuman integration: additional animation clips are added to the kiosk application via the Unreal SDK, and can then be triggered from the pipeline with the Behavior node.

Building a custom MetaHuman integration requires Unreal Engine development work on the kiosk app side – contact the Virbe team to learn more.
